Teflon Flu

Teflon when inhaled it can give a human Polymer fume fever that can last at least 3 days. The symptoms are similar to the symptoms of the flu such as; chills, headaches, fevers, and a cough, all together giving it the nickname The Teflon Flu. Not only is it harmful to humans, but it can instantly kill an average sized bird in very small doses. This is because of their lung capacity. if the fumes can kill a small bird whats stoping it from killing a small baby?

How to Protect Against Teflon Poisening

In all honesty, the best way to prevent against Teflon is to just refrain from buying those products. I mean, whats a little fish getting stuck to the pan and an extra 5 bucks when compared to poison. Instead of buying Teflon, you can just apply a little butter or oil to the pan to make it non-stick. In fact here is a link to safe, stainless-steel pans.

Origins of Teflon

A quick video on the origins of Teflon, made from the same stuff that is in the Atomic Bomb. The most shocking part of this video was 1:35 - 2:00 when she talks about the creating of the non-stick pans. For some reason DuPont cant tell us what chemicals they use in the making of Teflon pans... I wonder why?

Teflon's Toxins

Teflon will release at least 6 toxic gasses when heated up to 680°F. These toxic gasses consist of two global pollutants, two carcinogens, an MFA, and a chemical that is lethal to humans at low doses. Believe it or not, the chemicals in Teflon were used as a chemical warfare agent (PFIB) in World War 2.
